"The play is based on an article that the journalist David Holthouse published in 2004 and later adapted into a story for the radio program 'This American Life'. The trip from page and airwaves to stage has only deepened it..."
-Neil Genzlinger, New York Times Review, 1 October 2014

The original music and sound design for Stalking the Bogeyman pursues tension and release by exploring rhythmic layers of dissonance, consonance, and abstraction. The score is composed from stylized piano, plucked string, and marimba phrases combined with ambient textures and eclectic rhythms inspired by NPR broadcasts.
